Uninsured Motorist (BI) is the coverage that protects you and your passengers if you are involved in an accident with a motorist who is at fault and has NO insurance. If someone is hurt in your vehicle, your policy will pay a limited amount per passenger. If more than one person is hurt in your vehicle, your policy will pay a limited amount for all the passengers hurt in your vehicle. Uninsured Motorist (PD) is the coverage that protects your vehicle if you are involved in an accident with a motorist who is at fault and has NO insurance. Your policy will pay a limited amount for the damage to your vehicle.
